@ ‘82 — update that no one cares about because a certain carebear is out with illness or at least that’s what they want us to think…

midnitesunlite:

  • Midfield is on FIRE.
  • No, I don’t mean one team is playing better than the other
  • I mean, they both really really love the midfield area
  • Not-Lloris is impersonating Lloris’ face very well
  • “Gourcuff” has been mentioned every 5 minutes
  • Yes, Puel is still pissed
  • And grass is still green
  • Lyon 0 - 0 Marrakech

This has been an update.

  • I have grown to like Lyon.
  • I never thought I would.
  • I didn’t want to.
  • But, I was watching them yesterday, without Yoann playing.
  • I was so happy for them.
  • I dont know how or when it happened.
  • But, I have grown to like Lyon.

Yoann is in the dark

Yoann was interviewed for a blog, the questions were asked by different web users

Before signing for Milan, was you close to sign with Lyon

Yes, at first, i wanted to stay in France.

Gerard Houiller, Lyon’s coach was interested in me, I had met Lyon’s managers then Milan showed up, and as my father is a Milan AC’s history admirer. We had some meetings…

Your father brought his influence on your decision?

Milan Ac came, my father went to visit their installations, then me too.

And when you’re told Rui Costa is leaving, and you’re Seedorf, Kaka and Ambrosini’s stand in, at 20 years old, that is just out of this world.

I reflected, maybe I will never get a second chance

And my father advised me to go there, as it was a very good experience

Do you think, careers like Steven Gerard’s at Liverpool or Paolo Maldini’s at Milan are still possible? Do the player still can stay years in the same club

I think it’s still possible, in every great club it’s still possible. At Milan, or Chelsea with Terry, Lampard, players who stayed in the same club for a long time. And it will carry on

Do you have a relationship with Laure Manaudou

I know Laure, a little, we are just friend, there’s nothing more

Are you fan of Patrick Sebastien, as is being said

huuuummmm, yes i like, in the changing room, at Haillan, with the whole team, we listen some Patrick Sebastien’s songs. It brings glee and good spirits in the changing room.

My buddy Souleymane Diawara brings good atmosphere with that song

(CF the fake survivor/ koh lanta with Yoann, Marouane and Souley)

Do you dream to play in a team coached by your father

No, I don’t dream about this

never?

I can’t say never but i think it could be complicated

Who is Ligue 1 best full back? The one who set you problems

For me Cris belongs to the best

The best goal keeper

Loris or Mandanda, but Hugo (lloris) is a very very good friend of mine, so i’ll say Hugo Lloris

Which is the best goal you scored until now?

PSG

How many times did you see that goal

5-6 times

Do you feel able to be the best player in the world

I don’t plan for the long term, for the moment i just focus on my game with Bordeaux, i just seize the day, to be honest I’m someone who think in the short term

And i’m still very very far from that level, so for the moment I don’t think at all about that

Men admire you, women are unable to resist to you, what’s your next objective?

Help Girondin de Bordeaux to be Champion of France

Which Milan’s player brought you the most?

it’s hard to say.. I watched a lot all those stars, they all have something particular, Gattuso and his energy, Kaka and his speed, Paolo and his quality passes.

I  tried to use this to progress. There is no one in particular, they both are great professionals

Do you always follow Lorient’s results?

Yes, very regularly

Do you consider yourself like a real old fashion way playmaker?

Not really, I consider myself like a central midfielder, depending the coach, the game, my team mates, the opponent, i can play as offensive midfielder or more defensive

Do you wish Domenech and the french team play more offensive like at Bordeaux

France NT is already offensive, with lots of offensive player, a balance needs to be found, the coach decides.

What do you like to do on your free time

I like a lot to rest, stay at home, I feel good in my apartment in Bordeaux, I love to go back to Brittany, revive myself, with my family or my friends, having good time. Otherwise i like to go to cinema, theater,

do you read?

i also read a little, … i have a normal 22 years old youngster life

What can we wish for you

to stay in good health, for me and my family, the same footbalistic success for years, wish I don’t get hurt, to be happy, and why not, find… a girlfriend

“and why not, find… a girlfriend”.. Well im right here!

Why would Gourcuff leave Lyon for Liverpool?

sunandbeach:

sempre-yoann:

Liverpool Football Club are eyeing an ambitious swoop for Yoann Gourcuff.

The France international only left Bordeaux for Lyon during the last transfer window, so for him to move on again in January would be a huge surprise.

With his current club making light of their UEFA Champions League group he can also expect an interested second half of the season, so in many ways a move just wouldn’t make sense.

However, earlier this month the Daily Star claimed Manchester United were lining up an offer of £18million for Gourcuff, and now reports claims Roy Hodgson is also keen.

The Reds coach hopes to be given a healthy transfer budget to spend when the window reopens, following the recent takeover of the club from John Henry’s NESV group.

A move for Gourcuff, though, is surely one he will have to leave on the boil until the summer, and only then if he has dragged his side to a respectful Premier League placing.

Dear anon who is harassing me with questions about the transfer rumors: I hope this will answer your question. Read carefully the selected parts.

 Why not Arsenal??????

BRAND GOURCUFF?

you can read the article HERE.

If the article is true, this is what I think:

  • Ok, so I believe I was very neutral about the whole Lyon transfer compared to the other real fans of Gourcuff.
  • But, this article is soo diappointing to me.
  • I understand that Yoann did cost OL a lot of money.
  • I do understand that football is more business like than a game playing for fun. Ok, that’s fine.
  • article says:”When we buy such a player, especially when he is 24 years, we often think of the economic benefits related to his resale”
  • but, the article talks about Yoann like the hooker the just bought. Like they can do whatever they want with him and then discard him.
  • NO.HELL NO.
  • I understand that a brand Gourcuff = a ton of money.
  • But, wasn’t Yoann the guy who refused half a million euros to be in a perfume brand ambassador (wrong spelling?) or something
  • didn’t he say that he does NOT want to be a product whore?
  • I have always respected Yoann as a guy who is passionate about football and doesn’t care about money, so this is something I DO NOT APPROVE.
  • Yoann already has a ton of money and he doesn’t need anymore, does he?. And, his lawyer or him shouldn’t even be discussing this!
  • Whatever. Right now, I am so disappointed in Yoann and OL if this goes through or if this article is real.
  • I mean, the brand Gourcuff makes a lot of sense. He recieves constant media attention and everyone will buy whatever Gourcuff thing there is.
  • I think the brand Gourcuff is an absolute brilliant idea.
  • I just thought Yoann was above this!
  • I thought he wants to be remembered as a good football player than a brand.
  • whatever! I guess Yoann is changing, so why the hell should I bother?
